Hey! Sophie here and today I wanted to share the work of Emma @kitchenmason who is KILLING IT creating amazing content with our custom backdrops in her own brand colours.

Emma has been photographing food for her recipe blog since 2015 and for the last few years almost exclusively shooting with our backdrops. 

Her brand style uses blues, yellows and whites (gorgeous colours for shooting with food) making her content instantly recognisable and POP on everyones feeds.

Have you heard the phrase 'always us, never boring'? Its a great motto for keeping things on brand and cohesive but still being playful and mixing things up - Emma's work is a brilliant example of this, using key colours but mixing up backdrop designs and textures to bring variety.

 

 

 

And now Emma's taking her brand even further with a unique look by taking advantage of our custom colour backdrops - taking our designs and reimagining them in her own colours!

'My brand colours were another pandemic epiphany. Conveniently, my brother works in animation and marketing. So he helped me rebrand and develop the Kitchen Mason colour pallete. There wasn’t too much thought behind it other than, I said I liked these colours the best. So we went with it!'

And I agree; branding doesn't always need to be overcomplicated! As with your styling and photography - go where you naturally go and don't try to force it - if you love blue, use blue!

Emma chose to have our custom mottled colour effect in both of her brand colours and then the Billie wooden planks design made in her brand yellow and the Jasmine vintage tile effect in her brand turquoise.
