Our vinyl photography backdrops are designed and printed to order in the UK using the latest generation of print technology and bold, vibrant, fade-resistant inks.

EXTRA-THICK WATERPROOF VINYL

A unique material that’s quick to wipe clean, even after the messiest shoot. Guarantees a smooth, glare-free finish.

LIGHTER WATERPROOF VINYL

Same quality as the thicker vinyl, but thinner and lighter in weight.

HOW TO CLEAN VINYL BACKDROPS

A quick wipe with a damp cloth keeps your vinyl photography backdrop clean and pristine. Clean up any liquids or food straight after a shoot, but steer clear of scratchy scourers and cleaning sprays, as they might damage the colour.

HOW TO CARE FOR VINYL BACKDROPS

With the right care, our photography backdrops can last a long time. Try to protect them from:

Heat – avoid placing scalding-hot items directly onto them.

Knives and sharp objects – avoid cutting with blades directly on the surface.

Strongly coloured foods and dyes – ingredients such as chilli, turmeric and beetroot may cause staining.

Masking tape – always remove tape slowly and carefully.

Hard edges – our vinyl backdrops are hard-wearing, but they are not indestructible. Impact with a hard surface or edge, such as a table, door or hard floor — for example, if a taped backdrop comes unstuck and falls — can cause permanent dents.

HOW TO STORE VINYL BACKDROPS

If you’ve got the space, it’s best to store vinyl photography backdrops flat. Otherwise, keep them lightly rolled inside their original cardboard tube. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and very hot or cold rooms.

Captured from the weathered wood of an antique apple cart, Quay has a soft, timeworn texture with all the charm of an old working surface. It isn’t our sharpest design, so we wouldn’t recommend it for close-up macro shots, but its atmosphere and character made it impossible to leave out of the collection!

    CAN I HANG THE BACKDROPS?

    Yes - our unique vinyl material is perfect for hanging as it stays flat and provides a smooth curve if needed too.

    All of our backdrops can be hung with tape or clips on a horizontal arm on a C-stand or tripod or a domestic dressing/hanging rail.
