Shipping policy

STANDARD UK delivery

Usually 5 business days (timeframe accounts for printing, packing and courier). Once dispatched by our print partner, your order is shipped with DPD or UPS. Your tracking number and delivery updates are sent directly from the courier. You can also view your tracking number via our Shipping Confirmation email. 

FAST TRACK UK delivery

Usually 2 business days, but no more than 3 (timeframe accounts for printing, packing and courier). Your tracking number and delivery updates are sent directly from the courier. You can also view your tracking number via our Shipping Confirmation email. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON DELIVERIES

Once dispatched, your order is handled by a third-party courier. All delivery timings are estimates.  Please order with time to spare and check your tracking. Courier delays can occasionally occur and are outside of our control. We will always assist with tracking support, however, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers. Refunds cannot be issued for orders that are delivered later than the estimated delivery timeframe. Orders that are delayed in transit will still be delivered and are not treated as cancelled or refundable unless confirmed as lost, faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Black Velvet Styling cannot be held responsible for delays affecting your delivery, or for any consequences caused by these delays including missed photo shoots or other scheduled events.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International shipping is currently unavailable. Due to ongoing issues with courier companies, rising charges for long tubes, import taxes, erratic billing and customer support becoming automated, international shipping has become unsustainable for a small UK business like ours. 

This decision has not been taken lightly, we know our products are in demand overseas and we genuinely value our international customers. However, at present there is no reliable way for us to send our backdrops overseas that allows them to reach customers quickly and at an affordable price.

For the time being, we are focusing on serving customers within the United Kingdom where we can provide a reliable, premium delivery service.
