I'll be honest with you I have hit a bit of a wall when it comes to new backdrop designs lately. I do have a few ideas up my sleeve and new designs that I'm excited to release soon, but I'm not out and about sourcing textures like I used to be and although I can see some things missing in our range, it feels very uninspiring to just design backdrops to fill the gaps (and hope you like or need them!).
Soooooo...... I thought for our next release (in a few weeks) we could include something designed in collaboration with one of you guys!
Have you spotted something on your travels that you'd love us to turn into a backdrop?
Do you have a tiled surface or piece of wood you'd prefer as a backdrop so you can handle and transport it more easily?
Perhaps you love one of our designs but want to tweak it slightly?
It doesn't matter what it is - all ideas are valid, this is a safe creative space!
We can create backdrop designs from high res images or if you only have a phone snap as your idea reference we can often mix and match our existing textures to build the artwork - nothing is off limits!
We welcome you to send your ideas and one of them will be chosen as our winner to receive the final backdrop design, inspired by (and probably named after) you! Plus a £100 gift voucher to spend on our store.

Email hello@blackvelvetstyling.com with the details of your design, the colours and your inspiration pics. (If you have high res images they might need sending via Dropbox or WeTransfer).
Entries close at midnight on Wednesday 16th October and the winner will be contacted shortly after so we can develop the design together.
The winner will be announced to the public the following Wednesday 23rd October when we will release the new design.
You can enter as many times as you like with different designs - please put them on separate emails.
The prize will be one A1 backdrop in your choice of material and includes free UK delivery. Plus a £100 gift voucher, valid for 6 months, delivered via email.
