Our hand-painted canvas backdrops are the perfect medium between printed backdrops and solid surfaces - offering portability and easy storage with the advantage of unique textures and details to your specification.

We offer three sizes of hand-painted canvas backdrops - 

• 100 x 160cm is what we call our 'still life' canvas, perfect for food, products and table top shoots with the option to use the length as an infinity curve or head shots 
• 200 x 300cm is our 'studio' canvas backdrop better when you want a bigger area to play with (for example Christmas hampers!) or the option of portrait and smaller fashion set ups
• 300 x 500cm is the big one, the 'fashion' canvas backdrop for New York style fashion photography and editorial portraiture

Canvas will shrink slightly from painting, no more than a few cm's is normal

Painted on highest quality, 12oz artists canvas with raw edges to finish or hang as you wish.  See our set up pics using the smallest 'still life'  canvas backdrop which we have simply clipped to a c-frame stand with bulldog clips. (Larger backdrops will be heavier and need bigger grips or staples!)

Sophie has been making photography backdrops for publishers, prop houses, studios and creatives since 2016 - initially on a larger scale and more recently only by private commission - so we are really happy to be able to offer this service to a wider audience again through our website.
